Vic Zacharias FFIA
I've managed charity direct mail programs and over 1,000 campaigns for not-for-profit organisations and charities for 16 years. My specialty and my passion is understanding and using your data to boost your direct mail results. To each project, I bring the same high level of care and attention to detail I'd have if I was on your in-house team. This thoroughness and evidence-based approach, combined with the perspective of an independent outsider, has been proven to work outstandingly well for organisations of every size.
Since 2002 I've worked as a charity copywriter and direct mail copywriter for charities including some of Australia's largest and best known, along with being a freelance writer for mainstream media outlets in publications including Sunday Life, marie claire, and Who Magazine. I'm also the former editor of the fundraising sector's well-regarded magazine, Fundraising & Philanthropy. I have the experience and skill to help you with direct mail campaign development and I can convey your call to action in words that compel people to give.

With over 30 years in the nonprofit sector, within nonprofit organisations and charities that are household names, I've worked in fundraising and managed customer service operations, processing teams, direct mail campaigns, merchandise programs, lotteries/raffles, acquisition and letterbox drops. I have the know-how to help plan, co-ordinate, manage and report on your direct mail campaigns.
I've been working in print and digital marketing for over 18 years across multiple categories including professional services, healthcare, and the automotive industry as well as most recently for nonprofit organisations. Consulting to national organisations - designing and implementing strategic creative initiatives to sustain the growth of their brands - the campaigns I've worked on have been recognised for effectiveness through state and national awards. I love to create smart and successful charity communications that are on brand, on brief and on time.
